The Village of Harrison Hot Springs provides curbside collection services through GFL Environmental. Recycling bins (121L), organics bins (121L), and glass waste bins are currently offered for purchase for residents on the program, however, the Village does not offer organics kitchen catchers. The Village is currently exploring grant funding opportunities to support the enhancement of the residential curbside collection program. To encourage residents to be waste wise, the Village is considering making kitchen catchers available for household organics to decrease the amount of food waste that ends up in landfills.
Help prevent food waste and compost it!

What is a kitchen catcher?
A kitchen catcher is a counter-top (or under-sink) container with a lid that you use in your kitchen that can be carried to and from the communal compostables bins and easily emptied, and cleaned.
