Parks and Trails Master Plan

The Village of Harrison Hot Springs is developing a comprehensive Parks and Trails Master Plan to help guide efforts and investment in parks, trails, and recreation facilities over the next 15 years. The Parks and Trails Master Plan will be grounded in the community's needs and incorporate best practices and innovations, address current and future needs and challenges, and lay the groundwork for future initiatives.

This Parks and Trails Master Plan will encompass a vision, goals, and recommendations for parks, trails, recreation facilities, along with an implementation plan that includes short and long-term capital improvements, potential partnerships, and funding opportunities.

Public Engagement:

Thank you to all who came out to public engagement events on Oct 24, 2024 and March 3, 2025, for the first and second rounds of community engagement! Residents engaged with Parks & Trails consultants to ask questions and share their thoughts. Community input is integral for establishing the vision, principles, and goals that will serve as the foundation for the Plan.

May 29, 2025 Update: The Parks and Trails Master Plan will be presented to Council at an upcoming Committee of the Whole meeting for final feedback prior to adoption.
